Waterville Public Schools - TEMPORARY VACANCY

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
Temporary vacancy {expected duration approximately one (1) year} in the Technology Department - Computer Technician to support the staff and students of multiple schools within the district.

Monday through Friday - 8.0 hrs a day.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
*Basic troubleshooting for hardware & software issues, utilizing a help desk ticket system,  email, chat and phone as methods of communication.
*Basic troubleshooting and maintenance for computers (including Mac, PC, and Chromebooks), iPads, printers, scanners, and other classroom technology.
*Help senior level technicians on projects when needed
*Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
*Must have a vehicle for travel between schools - mileage to be paid.

School-Based Day Treatment Clinician

Albert S. Hall School - School-Based Day Treatment Clinician

 

Job Goal: To work within Waterville Public Schools,  clinical team program at Albert S. Hall School. Providing mental and behavioral health support to general education and special education students and staff.

 

This clinician will provide support to our Section 28 and 65 Day Treatment students and staff. They will provide supervision of school-based day treatment Section 28 and Section 65 services. This entails providing weekly supervision of the Educational Technicians who work with students identified for Section 28 and 65 services, as well as creating and updating required student documentation.

 

This clinician will also work with the Albert S. Hall School administrative team and guidance department to develop and run supportive programs related to student and staff mental health and wellbeing. While also providing as needed mental and behavioral health support to students and staff.

 

Qualified applicant must:

      Be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or conditional (LMSW-cc), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or conditional (LCPC-C).

      Have 2 years of clinical experience.

      Possess knowledge of Medicaid billing (KEPRO) including prior authorizations, CSR’s and BHP supervision.

      Have knowledge of MaineCare Section 28 assessments, ITP preparation, and ITP reviews.

      Be a team-oriented worker.

      Have knowledge of positive behavior support plans and behavior programming.

      Have knowledge of SEL curriculum.

      Have experience working with students working within a high school setting.

      Have knowledge of child and adolescent development.

POSITION TITLE: DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES & SPECIAL PROJECTS     

QUALIFICATIONS: *A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred

                                 *At least three (3) years successful experience in an administrative

                                 capacity in business, industry or public/private education

                                 *Demonstrated leadership ability with staff and the general public 


REPORTS TO:      Superintendent of Schools


 

JOB GOAL:            To  oversee the operation of all system facilities and special projects as assigned

                                

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.        Assumes responsibility for long-range planning – capital improvements, debt service/bonding, building construction and renovation, insurance, etc.

 

2.         Develops and administers  a program for purchasing supplies, and coordinates supplies, materials and equipment in keeping within the budget.

 

3.        Supervises storage and distribution of supplies and equipment.

 

4.         Purchase by competitive bidding, informal quotations, and negotiation, items of supply and equipment necessary for the operation of the school system.

 

5.        Prepares all bidding documents, including notice to bidders, instruction to bidders, specifications and forms of proposal.

 

6.        Maintains up-to-date inventory of school property and equipment.

 

7.        Assists in the  preparation and administration of the school system budget.

 

8.        Assists with construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects.

 

9.        Manages the school system’s insurance program

 

10.     Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating custodians and maintenance staff.

 

11.     Oversees school system custodians /maintenance / transportation department .

 

12.     Supervises the creation of all facility records and reports.

 

13.     Completes applicable applications for state and federal funds, e.g.; revolving renovation fund, e-rate money.

 

14.     Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.
