(1) Literacy Tech and (1) Math Tech

 George J. Mitchell School

6.75 hours / day-

TWO YEAR POSITIONS

2021-2023 School Year

 

-      Early elementary experience in the areas of literacy

-      Experience with early literacy, mathematics curriculum

-      Administering early literacy assessments preferred.

Some Responsibilities to Include:

·         Instruct students in ways that reinforce lessons from

          primary classroom

·         Introduce new instruction planned in collaboration with the

          teacher or relevant specialist

·         New student screenings as needed

·         Assess students as needed

·         Gather materials for teachers as needed

·         Organize and prepare assessment materials as needed

·         Participate in In-service as requested

·         Maintain confidentiality of student information

·         Perform additional tasks and assume other responsibilities

          as assigned or delegated from time to time

·         Maintain a professional attitude

·         Supervise assigned recess/bus duty as needed

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
Temporary vacancy {expected duration approximately one (1) year} in the Technology Department - Computer Technician to support the staff and students of multiple schools within the district.

Monday through Friday - 8.0 hrs a day.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
*Basic troubleshooting for hardware & software issues, utilizing a help desk ticket system,  email, chat and phone as methods of communication.
*Basic troubleshooting and maintenance for computers (including Mac, PC, and Chromebooks), iPads, printers, scanners, and other classroom technology.
*Help senior level technicians on projects when needed
*Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
*Must have a vehicle for travel between schools - mileage to be paid.
