Mid-Maine Technical Center EDUCATIONAL TECHNICIAN III: Preschool Coordinator Anticipated Opening
Mid-Maine Technical Center is a regional, technical high school serving students from Lawrence, Messalonskee, Waterville, and Winslow High Schools. Our Educational Technicians are critical members of the MMTC Instructional Staff. In addition to their regular duties, the Preschool Coordinator will assist the Early Childhood Education Instructor with the operation of the MMTC Preschool. Primary Responsibilities include: Counsel students regarding academic choices based on personal/educational goals, assessment results, and background information.
Reports to: Adult Education Director Qualifications: Required: 1. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in relevant field; 2. MDOE Adult Education Teaching endorsement in at least one subject area (Adult 100, 200, 300, 350 or 395) or equivalent experience Additional Skills Preferred: 1. Excellent interpersonal skills 2. The candidate will participate as a member of the IEP team meeting process, plan interventions, assess students needs and skills, and provide both direct and consultation services as required.
